Bridge Receives Innovation Award!
Minneapolis, MN (10/14/2011) The Greater Twin Cities United Way, in partnership with Delta Airlines, has presented The Bridge For Youth with a $25,000 Innovation Award to begin work on The Youth in Crisis Technology Project (YCTP). YCTP aims to provide the most comprehensive and highest quality care for runaway and homeless youth through an innovative approach to intake, assessment, referral, and follow up processes. The approach combines best practices along with an advanced technology system, which will allow for continual data collection and analysis. One of the greatest strengths of the system is that it connects youth to a network of preferred providers focused specifically on meeting the diverse needs of runaway/homeless youth. The Bridge is excited about the potential this system of care has to improve services for the youth we serve and to develop a tool that can be used across the industry.
The award was established to be given to a nonprofit for use in program development or program advancement and to recognize innovation and to further Delta’s legacy of innovation through recognition and support of quality, creative nonprofit programming focused on addressing the community’s greatest needs.
The Bridge would like to thank The Greater Twin Cities United Way and Delta Airlines for their support and recognition!
